The one he’s shared words with since he was only a pup.
Their conversations were spoken across the misty line dividing their realms, carried by the connection between their hearts. How this connection came to be, Terra couldn’t quite say. But he didn’t need to know the how or why. All he knew was that he was tied to her, and she to him...and that they were fated to meet. That he was meant to cross the divide, that she was to help him do so. A ritual...a rite of passage for them both.
And then, finally he would stand beside her, finally Be alongside her...he wants nothing more.
Today is the day...and Terra is nervous.
Very nervous. For so many reasons...and she can probably feel it. Though she thankfully hasn’t commented on it, yet...Probably because she’s nervous too. Though, she’s fairly good at hiding it. She always has been. Still, he can sense the faint hum of nerves along their connection, sharp and unsteady...especially as the time for her summoning him forth draws close.
“...Aqua?” Terra asks, through the misty fog between their realms “Are you alright?”
