Ienzo thought things, specifically her field study on dragons, was going well. She'd collected a number of high quality samples of scales and teeth, and was already halfway through her second notebook of observations. Ienzo suspected she'd have a lexicon worth of material by the time she was done here. Not that she was complaining, dragons were just fascinating to work with.
Such as today; over the last few weeks the local dragons had started exhibiting all new behaviors. Ienzo currently had her book out and in her lap, furiously taking notes about the frenetic displays she'd seen exchanged between various dragons this past morning.
She was so focused on her writing that she failed to notice something had crossed over the respectable distance she'd been attempting to leave between herself and her subjects.
