Under tha Sea ~

Terra wasn't nervous...Okay, maybe he was actually a little nervous but. It was more out of a sense of anticipation than actual worry.
The Mer uncoils, his long scaly body shifting the soft sand lining the den he shares with Aqua, sending glittering particles into the light filtering through the rocky crevice. He eyes his mate, taking in the rounded form of her belly with fondness.
Any day now, he thought. A particular number of moons had passed them by and the pair was now waiting patiently for the arrival of their brood.
Terra was waiting for his turn in supporting them.
He draws closer, brushing his body along hers gently and nuzzling the fins of her ears.
"How do you feel?" he asked softly
